Life at Sheridan
Sheridan College, Greater Toronto Area
Arts and sports. Night life and nature. Food and fun. Being located across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) means Sheridan students get unlimited access to Canada’s biggest urban playground, cultural capital and business centre.
Sheridan's campuses are located in three Ontario cities very close to Toronto — come visit us in Oakville, Brampton or Mississauga.
Big Student Life
An inspiring education includes big experiences outside the classroom. At Sheridan, you’ll be surrounded by enthusiastic students creating and exploring amazing extracurricular experiences at each campus, in our local communities and throughout our GTA home.
Clubs: Get Connected
There are more than 50 official Sheridan Clubs to join – or you can start your own! From interior design fans to dance lovers, ping-pongers to LGBTQ pride, there’s lots of choice here to get you engaged and meeting new friends.
Athletics: Beloved Bruins
Cheer on — or play for — a Sheridan Bruins’ varsity team in basketball, rugby, volleyball, cross-country or soccer. Join a recreational league to play sports such as co-ed hockey, ultimate Frisbee and Quidditch. Or try out for our extramural teams in men’s basketball, cricket, women’s flag football, men’s hockey, co-ed badminton, co-ed table tennis and more.
At Sheridan, you’ll have plenty of options for working out and staying fit. We offer a unique selection of athletic facilities, ranging from double gyms for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and badminton to weight rooms to squash courts to outdoor fields.
Residences: Living on Campus
Sheridan has three on-campus residences: one at Davis Campus (Brampton), which houses 350 students, and two at Trafalgar Road Campus (Oakville), which collectively house 824 students.
Sheridan Residence offers comfortable two-bedroom, suite-style accommodations that are fully furnished, air-conditioned and smoke-free. All residence buildings are secure with controlled-access entry and 24-hour on-site staff. When you need a break from studying, there are a variety of common spaces to enjoy: games rooms, movie lounges, kitchens, study areas and fitness rooms.
