Learning Spaces
Health & Community Services
Students in our Health Sciences, Community Services and Fire Science programs learn in a new NOVA Chemicals Health & Research Centre designed to accommodate health sciences programming, interdisciplinary learning, and applied research. This amazing space features:
- Forty-bed nursing lab
- Two intensive care unit rooms
- Two simulated advanced care suites
- Three active learning classrooms
- A 140-seat amphitheatre
- A paramedic lab with a fully stocked ambulance
- Simulation apartment
- Advanced technology simulation training spaces
Technology & Trades
Students in our Technology and Trades programs are now learning in a newly renovated space in the Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies. After a $14.5 million upgrade, spaces were improved to better meet the changing technological needs of industry creating more real-world relevant labs and training areas.
Industrial Fire School
Lambton College has the largest fire training centre in Canada that features a four-storey burn tower using live-fueled fire props to achieve the most realistic firefighting training in real-world scenarios.
Student Spaces
Our Lambton Lions draw big crowds in our newly constructed 40,000 sq. ft. facility that seats over 1,200 fans. The Cestar Group Athletics & Fitness Complex is the newest gymnasium in the Ontario College system and allows for two full-sized basketball courts for multiple gameplay and a 6,000 sq.ft fitness centre on the second floor. All students receive a free fitness pass as part of their fees.
New studying spaces, computer labs, and breakout rooms have been added to the college allowing for more collaborative work and accessible learning.
Residence
Lambton College Residence is home to over 280 students and is a great place to meet friends, socialize, relax, study and grow.
Located on the northeast edge of our main campus, you're only a short walk to classes, retail outlets, recreational facilities, restaurants, movie theatres and a wide variety of on-campus student services.
