What to expect from a career in Behavioural Science
Behavioural Science programs focus on preparing students to use the principles of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) with a wide range of individuals and groups across the lifespan. ABA can be used to teach individuals communication skills, self-help skills, self-regulation, social skills, activities of daily living, as well as academic and vocational skills. It is also used to assist in reducing challenging behaviours that may interfere with the individual’s ability to achieve goals or access community resources.

Courses also emphasize the importance of cultural competence and individualized approaches when working with clients from diverse populations and from various backgrounds.
