International Business Courses
In a multiple-year program, offering either a diploma or a Bachelor of Applied Business, the first two years will likely be spent learning the fundamentals of business through marketing training, economics and accounting skill development, legal courses and more.
In the following year or years, courses will target international business practices, which include banking, finance, marketing and other business areas on the international level. Some international business programs will also offer a co-op placement to give students firsthand experience in the industry.
General International Business Program Requirements
International business program admission requirements include an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, with a grade 12 English credit. A grade 12 mathematics credit is required in many cases, and is almost always recommended.
Note: Some international business schools at Ontario colleges offer a one-year international business management certificate program for those who have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma program in a related field. A combination of partial education and work experience may also be accepted.
